The previous episode had us correctly anticipating what was going to happen, and now we get the English Dubbed version! The preview showed Son and his friends coming to Earth, but they never got there. In fact, they were always going to come here, so the preview should have been indication that something bad was going to happen. However, they still didn’t get there! Meanwhile, Beerus and Whis are looking for the Super Saiyan God in the universe, and Son and his friends are trying to come home. Eventually, we finally get some clarity on what’s happening. The Super Saiyan God is called ” Beerus ,” and he looks very different than anything we’ve seen before. He starts by saying “I am Beerus ,” but he doesn’t play reactief (which I would have thought would make him more threatening), so he must be confused about who he is. He then shows up at the planet’s surface, and Son and his friends run away in terror. After a while, Beerus says something that seems to understand them, and then he disappears! The episode ends with the mention of a $3 billion Dragon Ball Super budget, which seems like a small price to pay for an end to accuracy in television series.
